2011 we build a new high-bay racking in Barcelona. The job was, to build a racking robot and the roller conveyor for steel pipes, steel bars and square tubes.
2020 the high-bay racking had to be expanded by two shelving system, which were constructed, mounted, delivered and had been taken into operation by our team. Therefore, the robot control and the crane control must be accordingly redesigned and updated.

1construction CAD
According to the requirement, the construction expansion was designed by our construction department, which finally was manufactured by our partner.
2assembly in house
After the delivery of all parts, the roller conveyor was mounted in our construction hall in Gutenstein. Each roller is settled on a weighting cell to report the removed or stored steel bars and pipes of the shelf.
3cabinet
For the new roller component also a new cabinet was delivered which was pre-assembled as well in our assembly hall.
4weight cell
The roller conveyor were settled on weight cells to report back all removed and stored steel parts to the higher-order stock system.
5tranport to spain
The complete assembled construction was loaded on trucks including all necessary papers for the transport to Spain.

6mounting on site
The roller conveyor was mounted on site by our team exactly according to plan - despite Covid-19 we finished the project according to plan!

7taking into operation
Our software specialist enlarged the high-bay racking system and the crane control by the two new roller systems. The complete control unit was updated with the latest software patches too.
